Northern Arizona church of Christ, meeting in Flagstaff, Arizona, began its ministry based on the teachings of our Lord, in 2006. The congregation is the result of Northland church of Christ and East Flagstaff church of Christ merging. To God's glory, Northern Arizona church of Christ is the result of members of two congregations being determined to obey the Biblical teaching on the unity of Christians. (Ephesians 4:3,12-13)

More than just a merge of two congregations, Northern Arizona church of Christ is people - people like you. Our congregation is made up of men, women, children, young adults, friends, families, students, senior adults & more. We are a loving, accepting family with a common belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. We believe that it is by His grace that we have been brought into an eternal relationship with Him.

Our congregation has a full-time minister/evangelist, Terry Haynie, and a college age eveangelist, Tad Klein. You can learn more about them both here.

Our Sunday worship service begins approximately at 10:30 am and lasts roughly 90 minutes. The service is a chance for us to praise Him with congregational a capella singing, pray with one another, share the Lord's Supper in communion, and learn his teachings.  In addition to be led by our song leader, songs and scripture are projected throughout the service. Also, our sermons are recorded and uploaded for online streaming.

Do you use instruments during worship service?

Our congregations prefers to worship using a Capella singing accompanied by a leader with a song book and a projection screen.

How do you observe the Lord's Supper?

In our congregation we observe Lord's Supper with prayer, and passing of the unleavened cracker and grape juice. Separate from that we offer a chance for the members of the congregation to submit their tithe, and prayer requests. As a visitor, we encourage you to submit a blue card (found in the bulletin) with your personal information to the collection plate so we may better serve you.

Where does my tithe go?

Whether you give 10% of your income, or whatever amount you decide between you and God, do it because you want to.  Motive is always more important than the money. Give with a loving heart and trust in God.  In our congregation, tithing supports our Evangelist, our ministries, and monetary operating needs. A monetary tithe is only expected of members of our congregation. If you are visiting, your presence alone in appreciated and encouraging, please do not feel obligated to give.

Can I view your weekly bulletin online?

While our full bulletin is not available in a digital format, you can access our prayer request list here.

How do I become a member?

First, let us know you want to.  You can call or office at 928-774-7474 and leave a message, or let a member know when you attend one of our services. To start the short process, we will want to get to know you and ask you some important questions about your faith. Then, welcome to your new church family!

If I become a member what is expected of me?

In short, Participation! If you aren't a shut in, sick, or at work, we would love to see you for worship on Sunday.  We encourage you to join any number of Small Groups that meet throughout the week, or at any number of events to develop new friendships and grow in your faith.  We encourage you to use your abilities to serve in a ministry where your service can be most effective.

Are there community service opportunities within your congregation?

Yes! We are always looking for more volunteers for various events and in our ministries. Please contact us as soon as possible or come visit us on a Sunday morning to see how you can help out.

I therefore, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism.
